Shell and safety
Premium Integrated Matrix (P.I.M. EVO) shell: A blend of carbon-aramid fiber, carbon fiber, glass fiber, and natural fibers provides superior impact resistance while keeping the helmet's weight low. The carbon version is exceptionally light, with a weight of approximately 1,300g (±50g) in a size medium.
Aerodynamic design: The shell was developed in HJC's in-house wind tunnel to reduce drag and lift, enhancing stability at high speeds.
Emergency kit: Removable cheek pads are included to allow for quick and safe helmet removal by emergency personnel in the event of an accident.
Safety standards: The helmet meets the ECE 22.06 safety standard.
Visor and visibility
HJ-42 Visor: This anti-scratch, UV-blocking visor offers an enlarged eye port for a wider field of view and improved peripheral vision.
Two-way visor mechanism: The new pivot system provides a smooth opening and closing motion and ensures a better, more secure seal against wind and water.
Pinlock included: A Pinlock anti-fog insert is included in the box to keep the visor clear in cold or rainy conditions.
Dark smoke visor included: A second, dark smoke visor is provided as standard with the helmet.
Comfort and fit
Advanced interior lining: The interior is made of an advanced, anti-bacterial fabric that wicks away moisture and dries quickly.
Removable and washable padding: The crown and cheek pads are fully removable and washable for easy maintenance.
Glasses-friendly: The interior is designed to accommodate riders who wear glasses.
Intermediate-oval fit: The helmet is shaped to fit the most common head shape.
Ventilation
Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (ACS): Multiple intake vents on the chin and top of the head, combined with exhaust vents in the rear spoiler, create a powerful airflow system to pull heat and humidity out of the helmet
